YBM commenced trading in 2001. It is an independent, privately owned and operated as a business mentoring and coaching company. Since inception the YBM mentors have, from the office in Concord, NSW, worked with a multitude of businesses, coaching business owners seeking business growth and profits, others wanting lifestyle changes, and many seeking a combination of outcomes.

About YBM Mentor Geoff Golding

Geoff is an operative within YBM.  He has worked in the financial sector for 40 years at senior management and at local directional level in two international insurance broking companies. He has also built his own business from a zero base to have representative offices across Australia and New Zealand, and sold out 12 years later for a substantial figure.

In 2000 Geoff became acutely aware of the need for so many small business owners to be coached in the “business of business”. Having run his own successful business, he decided to establish his own coaching business guiding those who wanted to understand the fundamentals of successful business.

Clearly, throughout his career, Geoff has gained a great deal of broad commercial experience in the "business of business" from these year in the financial sector.

About YBM Mentor Carol Golding

Carol is an operative within YBM.  She has worked in the commercial and not-for-profit sector for over 35 years in management, and prior to becoming a mentor was CEO of WIRES where she turned the organisation around within 3 years to become a viable, vibrant organisation.

Former roles include National Director of the Keep Australia Beautiful Council and she spent 7 years in the organisational wing of Federal and State politics.  In this latter role she gained experience at all levels of government, and using this is able to call on valuable resources as necessary to seek support for changes to legislation or assistance at a political or governmental level.

Finally, she has been a business owner with her own marketing and public relations business, is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and a licensed Real Estate Agent.

About the YBM Network

Over many years the YBM mentors have developed a network with a wide range of professional people.  This has proved invaluable in assisting clients with a multitude of issues ranging from graphic designers, printers, website builders, copywriters, accountants, bookkeepers, lawyers with a variety of specialist skills and mortgage brokers.

About Your Business Potential

By looking objectively at your business and quality of business services, Geoff and Carol Golding will release its untapped potential. This release can often result in achieving the desired goals and business growth within approximately 12 months, depending on the owner's wish and the capacity of the business to fund the growth or changes they desire.

To successfully complete a program of business coaching and to receive the best results, it is recommended the business owner makes a minimum time commitment of 4 hours per week for about 12 months as your industry/business may have matters that preclude rapid change.

YBM – How far do the Mentors Travel?

Distance is not a barrier to coaching clients - we work with small business owners in the metropolitan area and country areas using face-to-face meetings or a combination of phone and face-to-face, plus the internet delivering excellent results.

YBM provides clients with a "venue of choice" for their business coaching sessions. These may be held in the offices of the client, a suitable coffee shop or cafe nearby or at the YBM headquarters in Concord.  By seeing a client's premises and meeting staff enables the YBM mentor to develop an accurate understanding of the business and the staff. 
A picture paints a thousand words, and an accurate picture of the business enables us to develop a far better insight into the functionality of the business, the team and its operation. 

YBM - No locked-in Contracts

Your Business Mentor remains accountable to all clients on an ongoing basis and there is no need to have "locked in" contracts.  The key is to ensure the client is committed to achieving positive, tangible results, and to do this it will take a minimum period of 6 months to see these outcomes.

A written guarantee of tangible results is given to every new client - that is how sure we are you will improve your business and start achieving the goals you had only dreamed about previously.

YBM - What are our Fees?

Firstly, to give you a transparent, competitive figure we need to know the following:

(a)     Your estimated annual sales

(b)     The number of employees in the business

(c)     The number of your business outlets

Secondly, you need to decide which of the three mentoring programs you want to use:

(a)     The remote/start-up program

(b)     The business rev-up program

(c)     The business step-up program

Once we have determined the above it will be very simple to give you an accurate figure. As a guide, and depending upon your specific business details, monthly fees (4 sessions) range from $1,325 incl. GST to $3,250 incl. GST.  When we initially meet with you additional benefits will be identified.
